Dr. Macellari has a Licenciado en Geología degree from the University of La Plata, Argentina, and an Ms and PhD from The Ohio State University, USA. He has published more than 40 papers, and has been guest lecturer in numerous international forums, lately on topics of Vaca Muerta prospectivity and on Superbasins. He has lectured several courses in the USA, Colombia, Spain and Argentina, and is the founder of the Journal of South American Earth Sciences. He is currently professor of the postgraduate career "Specialization in Geosciences of exploration and development of hydrocarbons" of the University of La Plata.
